All of the Wedding celebrations will take place in downtown Miami!

If you are coming from out of town, we recommend flying into Miami International Airport (MIA); although you can also fly to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International (FLL).

Getting Around:

Brittany is a big fan of public transportation so if you want to try Miami's system, you can take the Metrorail to get downtown.  Follow the signs in the airport to the Metrorail station / rental car center and take the train from the airport to Government Center.  Once at Government Center, switch to the Metromover and take the Omni Loop to Bayside station.  The Intercontinental is about a 100 foot walk from the Bayside station.  The trip will cost $2 per person and should take about 30-40 minutes. This option may or may not leave you glistening!

Rishi is a big fan of efficiency and using Uber.  A ride from the airport takes about 15 minutes and costs about $14 per car.  If you have not used Uber before, you can save $20 on your first ride if you register here: www.uber.com/invite/0iw5v (we also get free rides ... everyone wins!)  Request your Uber after you've walked off the plane as they are usually 5-7 minutes away. 

Brittany and Rishi both agree that Miami taxis are terrible.

You will not need to rent a car!  Getting around Miami is very easy.  The events will be centered in downtown and we will provide transportation from the hotel to the various events.  The Intercontinental is within walking distance of Brickell and the Bayside marketplace.  You can also take the free Metromover to Brickell or the free Miami trolley system to Wynwood and Midtown.  Each of Coconut Grove, Wynwood, Midtown and South Beach are ~$10 Uber rides away.
